Dear Readers,

The padauk blossoms are in bloom again as the seasons complete a full circle. Soon it will be Thingyan (Myanmar New Year) again in Myanmar.

In April the Myanmar people will celebrate their Thingyan New Year. It would be a time of revelry and fun for the youths as well as a time for good deeds and contemplation for the pious. The streets filled with revelers marking the end of the old year and usher in the New Year with laughter and joy where as the pagodas and monasteries are crowded with pilgrims devoted to earn merit for their good deeds during this auspicious time of the year.

It is also the custom of the Myanmar people to wish at this time of the year for health, prosperity and spiritual tranquility to all the friends, far and near, in the coming year.

So may I take this opportunity to wish all our dear readers health, wealth and happiness in the coming 1366 Myanmar Era and also thank them for the support shown to our magazine during the old year.
